I'm working with a business looking for a Commerce Director to lead both client strategy and product development across a portfolio of ambitious brands. This role sits at the intersection of commerce, media, data and customer insight, requiring someone who can think strategically, build strong client partnerships and create innovative solutions that drive measurable commercial growth.
The Role
You'll act as a senior advisor to clients, helping them navigate an increasingly fragmented commerce landscape while developing full-funnel strategies that connect brand objectives with commercial outcomes.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading the development of commerce strategies that drive revenue growth and long-term brand value
Building senior client relationships and acting as a trusted strategic partner
Creating connected commerce planning frameworks across retail media, media, data and insights
Identifying new opportunities for innovation, product development and agency growth
Using audience, shopper and market insights to inform strategic recommendations
Supporting new business activity through strategic thinking and thought leadership
Leading, developing and mentoring a growing team of commerce specialists
Staying ahead of developments across retail media, technology and AI
About You
You'll be a strategic commerce leader with experience driving growth for brands across retail and digital channels.
You'll likely bring:
Significant experience building and delivering commerce strategies at scale
Strong understanding of retail media, commerce platforms and measurement frameworks
The ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable business recommendations
Proven experience managing senior stakeholder relationships
Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
A commercial mindset with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies
