We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytically driven Environmental Compliance Consultant to support clients in meeting complex global environmental regulations, with a particular focus on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements, including WEEE, Packaging, and Batteries.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality compliance reports and provide expert guidance to clients on regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Conduct in‑depth research into evolving environmental legislation worldwide and liaise with national enforcement agencies across EU Member States and internationally.
- Manage client registrations and submissions of product, battery, and packaging data to regulators and recycling schemes.
- Work with Sphera’s EC4P platform to help clients leverage the tool to minimise environmental impact at end‑of‑life.
Qualifications
- Degree in science, engineering, technology, law, or a related technical discipline (minimum 2:1 or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and research skills, with excellent report‑writing ability.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong IT skills and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player who responds well to feedback.
- Prior experience or knowledge of EPR regulations (WEEE, Packaging, Batteries) is desirable.
