The Implementation Consultant (IC) will be responsible for owning the overall design of assigned projects as well as recommending best practices for solutions based on client business needs in line with core ARA software functionality. This role will require design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system configuration requirements. The IC will work with internal and external cross-disciplinary teams to capture and document requirements.

Accountabilities:
- Review and participate in any customer design phase of a delivery project to ensure the requirements are captured in an effective and consistent manner.
- Document and translate the client requirements as appropriate for input into requirements capturing tools, according to team standards.
- Provide product analysis, design functionality & feature support to cross-discipline task teams where relevant.
- Own, manage and monitor project backlog and iteration planning and reporting process.
- Hold daily stand-ups to review progress against project schedule, allocate or reallocate work within the project team to ensure that all tasks are being actioned as expected according to schedule.
- Ensure personal and assigned team deadlines are met.
- Escalate any slippage on project deadlines for self and team.
- Periodically, with the wider services team, review analysis documentation and tools to keep them up to date with product evolution.
Responsibilities:
- Can exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on any project with minimal direction.
- Oversees, and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of the project teams assigned work.
- Works closely with the assigned Project Manager to ensure project scope is delivered.
- Ensure all tasks (self and team) are completed on time whilst ensuring comprehensive attention to detail.
- Plan and organise work (self and team) to produce the required deliverables to overall timelines.
- Deal effectively and professionally with requests that have the potential to disrupt schedule whilst keeping all parties informed and appraised of impact.
- Develop effective lines of communication with all staff to ensure optimised cross-discipline team interaction.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complex problems.
- Ensure detailed understanding of product functionality and features.
- Utilise product knowledge and analysis skills to aid in the gathering and documentation of product requirements.
- Listen and respond positively to people with a differing view and opinion to arrive at an agreed position to move forward.
Required Skills:
- Experience and application of Process Safety Risk Management processes (including HAZOP/ LOPA / FMEA etc.)
- Demonstrates the ability to adequately prepare and maintain the following documents/tools:
- Business Process understanding and Definition
- Liaise with Subject Matter Expert (SME) to analyse Client Business Processes and translate them into Sphera Application Workflows/Requirements
- Requirements Capture and Definition
- Strong Documentation creation skills
- Implementation of requirements into software configuration
- Resource management within an assigned project
- Project backlog creation and iteration planning, reporting and management
Additional Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (2:1 or higher) in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering etc).
- At least 2-3 years of consulting experience in a related area or 3-5 years systems analysis experience in a consultancy environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall software implementation projects.
- Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
- Able to understand and discuss Software/IT implementation topics such as cloud/on-prem software solutions, configuration, functional and non-functional testing, deployment, UAT.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role within an assigned project.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Individuals will need a strong work ethic, and that take pride in their work and strive to get it right the first time with the least amount of rework.
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
