A strategic and innovative AI+ Lead is sought to join the Enterprise Finance and Strategy team at S&P Global Inc. This role involves partnering closely with Corporate Finance and divisional CFOs to implement scalable, ethical AI solutions aligned with corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading initiatives that harness AI/ML, NLP, and GenAI technologies to improve Finance processes, operational efficiency, and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI+ strategy for the Finance team, aligned with SPGI's overall business objectives. Identify and prioritise AI opportunities across Finance processes, creating a roadmap for AI+ initiatives.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Partner closely with Finance Technology Lead, Corporate Finance, and divisional CFOs to ensure AI solutions are aligned with business needs. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and buy-in for AI+ initiatives.
- Opportunity Discovery and Assessment: Conduct readiness assessments with stakeholders to understand their needs and evaluate current AI capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Implementation Leadership: Lead the design and deployment of AI+ projects within the Finance team, coordinating with internal technology teams and external vendors.
- Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and ROI of AI+ initiatives. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on project progress and outcomes.
- Ethics & Governance: Ensure AI initiatives are developed ethically, following responsible AI practices. Collaborate with internal teams to review AI projects for adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments related to AI, data privacy, and ethics. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
