The Opportunity
SPG Resourcing has opened a brand-new Manchester office, and we’re building our US Deep Technology division from the ground up.
We’re looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join us at the beginning of that journey.
Working directly alongside our Divisional Director, you’ll build your own specialist market across the US, focusing on AI, Machine Learning, Deep Tech and adjacent technology markets.
This is a 360 recruitment role. You’ll be winning clients, building relationships, finding specialist talent and managing the recruitment process from first conversation through to placement.
No inherited desk. No sitting back and waiting for jobs. You’ll be building your own market - with the training, support and infrastructure to make it successful.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and own your specialist US market
- Win new business through proactive BD and lead generation
- Develop long-term client and candidate relationships
- Source and engage specialist technology talent
- Manage the full recruitment process from brief to placement
- Build and manage a strong client and candidate pipeline
- Pick up the phone, create opportunities and turn conversations into business
- Work directly with the Divisional Director to grow our Manchester and US division
- Work towards clear individual and team targets
Who We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have 6+ months’ recruitment experience, with exposure to the US market.
Your current specialism isn't the most important thing. We’re open to recruiters from across the US market who want to move into AI, Machine Learning and Deep Technology.
