We are looking for a Contract DevOps Engineer to help build a brand new cloud based environment for a company in the Supply Chain Transformation sector. You will be responsible for building the cloud based infrastructure from scratch and this is a completely greenfield project giving you complete autonomy over technologies, tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) – Terraform
- Proven background in cloud infrastructure design and build (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Experience designing and implementing new environments from scratch (not just maintaining existing systems).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Exposure to GitHub and GitHub Actions would be advantageous
- Kubernetes / AKS exposure desirable but not essential
- Ability to work from the ground up on a completely greenfield project.
- Excellent communication, teamwork skills & ability to collaborate across teams
- Proven project experience working on greenfield projects from the ground up.
- Comfortable in a client facing role, adhering to deadlines and firefighting if needed.
- Able to make technical decisions on the acquisition of new tools & technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to track a technical budget.
