A leading professional services firm is looking for an experienced HR Data & Insights Manager to join their growing people analytics team. This is a brand new position introduced in the organisation to build on the existing leadership infrastructure.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be managing a small team of analysts, shaping the data strategy, and delivering insights that directly support senior decision-makers. The team has already made big strides in moving from spreadsheets to Power BI, and the business is continuing to invest in innovation; including in-house tech, AI and automation capabilities.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and supporting a team of three HR data analysts
- Building dashboards, reports and visualisations in Power BI
- Presenting data-driven insights to senior stakeholders and boards
- Collaborating with the systems team to ensure integrated, accurate reporting
- Driving forward data governance, quality, and continuous improvement
- Acting as the go-to for all things HR data, analytics and insight
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience managing or mentoring analysts
- Excellent Power BI and Excel skills
- Strong analytical capability and a data-led mindset
- Confident communicator with experience presenting insights to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
- Solution-focused, curious, and collaborative
Nice to have:
- Experience in HR, legal or professional services
- Familiarity with tools like Workday, PowerApps
- Experience using advanced data analytics tools like R
The offer:
- £60,000–£70,000 salary
- Private medical, 25 days holiday (+ increase with tenure), 5% matched pension
