  • HR Data & Systems Analyst
  • Manchester or Leeds (Hybrid – 2/3 Days per Week in Office)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Data & Systems Analyst to join a highly technical, in-house HR Systems and Analytics team within a leading professional services organisation.

Sitting between the HR Systems and Data & Insights functions, this role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing the organisation's Workday environment, with a particular focus on payroll configuration, reporting, and ongoing system development.

Over the next 12 months, the team will be delivering several key payroll-related initiatives across both UK and global payroll processes, creating an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of HR systems, data, and business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform across multiple modules.
  • Play a key role in upcoming UK payroll and wider global payroll projects.
  • Configure, test, and support Workday payroll-related functionality and system enhancements.
  • Build and maintain reports within Workday, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and meaningful HR data.
  • Maintain high standards of HR data integrity, identifying and resolving data quality issues where required.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and system requirements.
  • Support system upgrades, releases, testing activities, and ongoing optimisation initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of the wider HR data and reporting landscape, including integration with the organisation's data warehouse and Power BI reporting environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience administering and configuring Workday.
  • Experience working with Workday reporting and dashboards.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, ideally including UK payroll within Workday.
  • Experience supporting HR systems, HR data, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

  • Workday Payroll experience.
  • Exposure to global payroll processes.
  • Experience with Power BI and data visualisation.
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, or HR data warehouses.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
