Acting as the main contractor, our client is adopting a non-adversarial approach to traditional contracting through both JCT, D&B and CM routes. They are building a portfolio of prestigious projects that showcase their commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail and as part of their planned expansion they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Director from a contracting background to play a key role in the future growth of the business.

The Role
As Commercial Director, you will be responsible for overseeing both pre and post contract commercial duties, procurement strategies, cost control, CVRs, cashflow through to final. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of projects while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in quantity surveying
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably on high-end residential projects with values in excess of £10m up to £100m.
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost management and contract administration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
