The Senior QA Manager for Finance Transformation will lead the quality strategy, validation, and control framework for major financial change programmes, including ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), process automation, and operating model redesigns. You will ensure that transformed finance processes are accurate, compliant, and deliver the intended business benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- QA Strategy & Governance: Develop and execute a comprehensive QA vision and control framework for large-scale finance transformation projects.
- System Implementation Validation: Oversee testing strategies for ERP-led transformations and finance system migrations to ensure data integrity and functionality.
- Risk & Compliance: Proactively manage risks to financial reporting and ensure SOX compliance and robust control environments during and after transformation.
- Process Optimization: Review and challenge new finance operating models to improve system utilization and process efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Present clear, high-level analysis and quality metrics to senior stakeholders (CFO, CIO) and lead steering committee updates.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor QA professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Significant experience in finance transformation, systems implementation (ERP), or financial controls consulting.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of finance operating models, month-end close processes, and shared service centers.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and data migration testing for financial systems.
- Leadership: Experience leading large teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills to challenge information provided by team members and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience in IFRS 17 is mandatory.
- Background in professional services (consulting) or large-scale corporate finance transformation.
