Assignment Description

Are you an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Azure Data Platform and the Insurance domain? We are looking for a highly skilled consultant who wants to contribute to large-scale data transformation initiatives and help organizations build modern, scalable, and secure data platforms. This assignment offers the opportunity to shape enterprise data architecture, support analytics and digital transformation programs, and collaborate with both business and technology stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Define and design end‑to‑end enterprise data architecture for Insurance use cases.
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
  • Design modern data platforms, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Establish data integration patterns, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data pipelines.
  • Design and implement solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks.
  • Contribute to enterprise data strategy and roadmap development.
  • Establish and maintain data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to implementation teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, program managers, and engineering teams.
  • Present architectural solutions and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10–15+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Data Architecture roles.
  • Strong experience within the Insurance domain (Life, P&C, or Reinsurance).
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Lakehouse Architecture.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT design patterns and data integration frameworks.
  • Experience with data modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vault.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Understanding of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements, including IFRS 17, Solvency II, and GDPR.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
