Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for key categories.
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes and secure optimal total cost of ownership.
- Drive cost optimisation through benchmarking, value engineering, and negotiation of long‑term agreements.
- Build strong supplier relationships and implement SRM frameworks to improve performance and resilience.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product Development to align sourcing with design and NPI projects.
- Manage risk and compliance, ensuring continuity of supply and adherence to safety, sustainability, and ethical standards.
About You
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing or category management within maritime, aerospace, automotive, defence, or similar high‑tech sectors.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of SRM frameworks, cost management techniques, and inventory control.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment and lead change initiatives.
