SimplyStay Lincoln Road Nursing Home is a new care service based in Skegness. Our 42 bed nursing home aims to deliver compassionate, person-centred care to residents and day care clients, supporting their physical, emotional, and social needs in a safe and respectful environment. This role supports both residential and nursing care services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and promoting dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Personalised Care Delivery
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Support individuals with complex needs, including dementia and physical disabilities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and day care attendees.
- Health & Wellbeing
- Assist with nutritional needs, including meal preparation and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health to senior staff.
- Support senior staff, nurses and management in effective care services.
- Day Care Centre Support
- Welcome and assist day care clients with daily activities and routines.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and wellbeing.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees.
- Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with nurses, care staff, and external professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and incidents observed.
- Attend training, supervision, and team meetings as required.
Requirements
- Essential:
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach to care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Commitment to completing the Care Certificate (if not already held).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Desirable:
- Experience in a residential or nursing care setting.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
