Job Overview
Are you a fully qualified electrician, competent in performing EICR inspections? If so, then we are looking for you!
We are Spericle group of companies. Under our umbrella is an established property and lettings management company and a buildings and maintenance company. As well as maintaining and managing our current stock of properties we have exciting new building projects awaiting your expertise! The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with current electrical codes and safety standards. The role ideally requires both residential and/or commercial experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the office and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently, on time and to budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Complete work reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Complete EICR inspections for company properties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, identifying potential electrical hazards and recommended solutions.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams; to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure installations are compliant with national and local electrical codes.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified electrician with (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- At least 3+ years experience as a qualified electrician.
- Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification (BS 7671) knowledge and experience.
- 2391 Testing and inspection qualification.
- Proven experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
