The opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help shape how Spendesk understands its market, brings products to market, and turns customer, competitor and commercial insight into business impact. Reporting to the Product Marketing Team Lead, you’ll work at the intersection of Product, Marketing and Revenue. You’ll help us understand where Spendesk can create the most value, how finance teams make buying decisions, where we win or lose, and how our product story should evolve across markets, customer segments and the customer journey.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines market insight, customer empathy, product understanding, commercial judgement and sharp storytelling. You’ll work across multiple product areas, shaping positioning, strengthening our competitive narrative, supporting launches, identifying growth opportunities, and enabling customer‑facing teams with the clarity they need to win.

We’re looking for someone who can go beyond delivery: diagnose the right problems, use data to guide decisions, make clear recommendations, and turn in‑market learning into action.

What you’ll do

  • Shape product marketing strategy across multiple product areas, using customer, market, product and commercial insight to identify where PMM can create the most impact.
  • Turn insight into business‑impacting recommendations, analysing customer and market intelligence to identify opportunities that improve acquisition, conversion, adoption, retention or expansion.
  • Build clear positioning and messaging, translating complex product capabilities into simple, differentiated narratives, and adapting those stories across markets, personas, use cases and customer journey stages.
  • Bring valuable insight to Product, Marketing, Revenue teams, helping teams understand customer needs, market shifts, competitive dynamics and product value so they can make confident decisions.
  • Lead high‑impact GTM and growth initiatives, aligning teams around clear goals, audiences, messaging, success measures and practical execution.
  • Create high‑quality PMM outputs that teams actually use, from strategic recommendations and messaging frameworks to launch briefs and sales materials, and ensuring they deliver value.

Experience we’re looking for

  • You have 3 to 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, financial services, or another complex, multi‑product environment.
  • You turn insight into strategy.
  • You’re naturally curious about customers, markets and competitors, and you use customer, market and commercial signals to spot patterns and make clear recommendations.
  • You connect PMM to commercial impact.
  • You understand how product marketing influences acquisition, conversion, adoption, retention, expansion and product usage, and you use data to identify opportunities, measure performance and improve.
  • You shape strategy, not just execute plans.
  • You can diagnose the right problems, decide where PMM should focus, and explain why some work should be prioritised while other work should wait.
  • You make products make sense.
  • You can turn technical product capabilities into clear, differentiated positioning and messaging.
  • You have excellent writing and editorial judgement, and know great messaging is a strategic choice.
  • You bring teams with you.
  • You build trust across Product, Marketing, Revenue and leadership.
  • You create practical enablement, messaging and recommendations that help teams move with clarity, confidence and consistency.
  • You are curious about AI.
  • You’re interested in using AI to improve efficiency, reduce manual work and create more space for strategic thinking.

Non‑negotiables: fluency in English plus French, German, or Spanish.
