CFO Connect is building Europe's most influential community for finance leaders—and we need a commercial leader to turn that influence into sustainable growth. We need someone to turn that momentum into a predictable, scalable revenue engine. You will sell integrated packages (events, content, digital, community) to B2B brands in the finance ecosystem, build a repeatable sales engine, and manage relationships with key sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end sponsorship sales: prospecting, pitching, proposals, negotiation, closing and renewals.
- Work significant inbound interest and run targeted outbound to priority accounts (FinTech, SaaS, financial services).
- Package and price integrated sponsorship offers across events, webinars, content, newsletter/website, and community/Pro tier.
- Manage and grow relationships with anchor sponsors (e.g. Deel, Stripe) and secure new tier-one partners.
- Build and optimise the sponsorship sales “machine”: target lists, prospecting cadence, pricing & packaging, and basic reporting.
- Own sponsorship marketing collateral including pitch decks and website content.
- Maintain strong pipeline and accurate forecasting in CRM.
- Collaborate with community team to ensure high-quality delivery and clear ROI for sponsors.
What we're looking for
- 3–6+ years in B2B sponsorship/media sales (events, trade media, B2B publisher, or community/media brand).
- Experience selling integrated, multi-channel packages (events + content + digital).
- Confident selling to senior stakeholders (VP/C-level Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Founders).
- Strong hunter mentality: comfortable as a largely standalone seller, building and managing your own book of business.
- Excellent commercial storytelling and negotiation skills, able to defend and grow pricing.
- Highly organized, disciplined with pipeline management and follow-up.
As we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.
