At Spendesk, we\’re committed to fostering communities that empower finance professionals. As a Junior Community Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth and development of our flagship community, CFO Connect, and other similar communities in the future. You will work closely with the Community Lead, Director of Communications, and our broader marketing team to nurture and grow the communities through strategic content creation, event planning, social media management, and more.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Member engagement & communication : moderate, listen and engage regularly with community members, providing them with support and resources they need via email, Slack, events and social media.
  • Event coordination: assist with coordination for our virtual events programs, and physical meetups in Paris, London, and Berlin and other EU cities.
  • Social Media Management: effectively manage and grow the community across various social media platforms (especially LinkedIn), staying abreast of trends and opportunities.
  • Content management: help plan, secure and publish content for the CFO Connect blog, social media, monthly newsletter and one-off email campaigns.
  • Community operations : ensure a premium member experience from the first touchpoint. Continuously improve and iterate on the member experience with tools, automation, and communications.
  • Internal comms & enablement: keep internal stakeholders informed of important community updates, and provide education & enablement resources to help internal teams leverage CFO Connect.

Who we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years of marketing, community management or customer success experience in a similar role
  • Project management experience, particularly in the context of events or community initiatives
  • Experience directly managing social media channels
  • A customer-centric mindset, dedicated to exceeding user expectations
  • A data-driven and analytical mindset, always willing to re-evaluate and course-correct when necessary
  • Native-level written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus)
  • Comfortable with being a public face with the CFO Connect community and building 1:1 relationships with community members
  • Familiarity with project management and community building tools. Some of the tools we use include Notion, Common Room, Splash, and Hubspot
  • Bonus points if you have an interest or experience in B2B/SaaS/Fintech industries
