We are working with a small, boutique accountancy firm based in Northwest London. They are looking to hire a capable and intelligent Secretary to support the smooth day-to-day running of the office through a range of light administrative and organisational tasks. This is a part-time position ideal for someone sharp, reliable, and well-organised β€” someone who brings initiative and professionalism to even the simplest tasks.

About the role:

  • You’ll be responsible for a range of secretarial and administrative duties, including:
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Greeting occasional visitors to the office
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Scanning, filing, and organising documents
  • Liaising with clients by phone and email as needed
  • Chasing outstanding payments from clients on an ad hoc basis
  • Supporting the team with general admin as required

The workload is light and well-structured, and while the current need is for 3.5 hours per day, there is flexibility to increase hours for the right candidate over time.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be articulate, intelligent, and detail-oriented
  • Have previous experience in a secretarial, administrative or office support role

Hours & Salary:

  • Pro-rata for part-time: approx. Β£12,250 – Β£13,570 for 17.5 hours/week
