Accounts/ Finance manager
Our client is an established property services company based in North West London and is looking for an experienced Accounts / Finance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong accounts experience who is comfortable managing the accounts function independently and has extensive experience using QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day accounts function
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Managing payments and receipts
- Processing supplier invoices and payments
- Managing supplier and customer accounts
- Preparing financial reports and management information
- Monitoring cash flow and outstanding balances
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Reviewing and reconciling accounts
- Dealing with financial queries from customers and suppliers
- Liaising with the wider team regarding invoices and payments
- Managing the accounts system and ensuring information is kept accurate and up to date
About You
- Strong previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Extensive experience using QuickBooks is essential
- Comfortable managing accounts with a high level of independence
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, invoicing and credit control
- Confident working with figures and financial information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to manage your own workload
- Good IT skills and confident using Excel and other systems
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Ideally, previous experience within a property services, maintenance, construction or similar SME environment
This is a hands-on position and would suit someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the finance function rather than someone looking for a purely administrative accounts role.
Salary: Β£33,000 - Β£38,000
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
