Our client, a leading lift servicing and maintenance company, is seeking an experienced and qualified Service/Call-Out Engineer to join their team. The role involves a combination of routine servicing, attending to breakdowns, and ensuring lifts operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure lifts are compliant with safety standards and operating at optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in lifts.
  • Attend breakdowns promptly, minimising downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Perform safety checks and inspections in line with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service logs and call-out reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers to provide updates and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Participate in a night rota one week per month, providing out-of-hours support and resolving urgent issues.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years in lift servicing, with at least 3 years of stable experience in the most recent role(s).

Working Hours: 8:00 AM start time on-site, finishing at 5:00 PM.
