Role Summary:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Commercial Property Manager to join their team. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in the commercial real estate sector, working closely with tenants, contractors, and the accounts team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
- Update the property management system with relevant information, including tenant details, lease events, and rent charges.
- Conduct regular inspections of managed properties to ensure tenant compliance with lease agreements and property upkeep.
- Liaise with tenants regarding their obligations and property-related issues.
- Arrange for contractor quotes for building upkeep and supervise repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Work with the accounts team regarding service charges, rents, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of service charge budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure properties are compliant with health and safety regulations, including carrying out H&S inspections and risk assessments.
- Maintain and update lease and property files as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent level of customer service both on the phone and face-to-face.
