Our client, an established building surveying practice based in North West London, is reopening its valuations department and is seeking a Valuation Surveyor / Registered Valuer to lead and develop this area of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified valuation professional to take ownership of a newly re-established department and help shape its growth and direction. The firm has an existing client base and historic valuation relationships that can be developed further, offering significant scope to build the department and expand future work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake Red Book valuations for a range of purposes including loan security, acquisition, probate, and taxation.
- Manage and develop the valuation department, ensuring compliance with RICS and internal quality standards.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, lenders, and solicitors.
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely valuation reports.
- Keep abreast of market trends and comparable evidence to support robust valuation advice.
- MRICS qualified (essential).
- RICS Registered Valuer (essential).
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification valuation experience.
- Experience across residential and/or commercial valuations.
- Strong technical understanding of RICS Red Book standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Location: North West London
- Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
