We are working with a long-established and growing property management company based in North London who are looking for an experienced Accounts / Bookkeeping Coordinator to join their friendly, office-based team. They manage a large UK-wide property portfolio and have built a positive, collaborative working culture over the past 30+ years. The role offers a mix of core bookkeeping duties and commercial exposure, including monthly reporting, reconciliation work, and financial analysis.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will take responsibility for a broad range of finance duties including invoicing, statements, reconciliations, and reporting on bad debts. There is strong collaboration with the wider team and training will be provided on internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable
  • Creating and sending invoices, statements, and remittances
  • Bank and rent reconciliation across the portfolio
  • Providing financial analysis and insight to operational teams
  • Preparing reports on overdue accounts and bad debts
  • Investigating and resolving finance queries internally
  • Supporting compliance with internal credit policies
  • Data analysis and sharing insights with relevant departments

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role
  • Solid knowledge of accounting processes
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay organised and meet deadlines under pressure
  • A proactive and analytical mindset
