Spencer & Thurlow is conducting a confidential search for an exceptional Personal Assistant to join the private office of a prominent international Chairman.
Based in Mayfair, this is a rare opportunity to join an established and highly regarded private office supporting an individual with extensive global business, investment and philanthropic interests.
Working alongside an existing PA, you will provide comprehensive professional and private support to the Chairman. The position is fast-paced, varied and highly involved, requiring someone who is comfortable operating in an environment where priorities can change quickly and expectations are exceptionally high.
This would suit an ambitious PA or EA who thrives on responsibility, has an outstanding work ethic and is excited by the opportunity to work at the very highest level.
The Role
No two days will look quite the same. You will work closely with the Chairman, the existing PA and wider private office team to ensure he is fully supported across an exceptionally busy international schedule. Please note the hours of this role will alternate between 7am-4pm and 11am-7:30pm. The nature of supporting an international Chairman means that additional evening or weekend availability may occasionally be required, alongside international travel.Additional hours are recognised through paid overtime or time off in lieu, with appropriate arrangements for weekend and bank holiday work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing an extremely busy and frequently changing diary
- Coordinating complex international travel and detailed itineraries
- Providing a seamless flow of information regarding upcoming commitments, priorities and requirements
- Supporting across both professional and private matters
- Liaising with senior business leaders, advisers and other high-profile international contacts
- Coordinating meetings, appointments and engagements across multiple time zones
- Working closely with the existing PA to ensure comprehensive coverage and continuity of support
- Anticipating requirements and resolving issues quickly and confidently
- Travelling internationally with the Chairman when required
- Handling highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Remaining responsive outside standard working hours when circumstances require it
About You
We are looking for someone with previous PA or EA experience who is ready to step into an unusually demanding and rewarding appointment.

- Prepared to provide additional evening or weekend support when required
- Fully committed to working from the Mayfair office five days per week when not travelling
- Collaborative and comfortable working as part of an established PA and private office team
