We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner who will join a global Insurance business and work across a line of Underwriting and Claims (UW & C) IT Products. This incredible opportunity will see you be accountable for engaging with senior Finance, Actuarial and Treasury business stakeholders to deeply understand their IT system requirements and take accountability for delivery against them.
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner that has a huge depth of application management experience. We need a Senior Product Owner that has years of managing Underwriting and/or Claims applications within the Insurance sector, in particular, Policy Administration systems and Claims systems where Insurance policies are recorded and processed.
This Senior Product Owner position will work on a hybrid model with three days spent working from the Company’s London office whilst the rest of the time can be home-based. The position will offer an incredible benefits and bonus package and a salary range up to £140,000.
The successful Senior Product Owner will be responsible for the following:
- Managing vendor products and influencing the roadmap to drive and deliver on business priorities (roadmaps, BAU improvements, and incident fixes).
- Engaging with the business to plan, design, and deliver projects, small changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading and engaging with internal delivery teams, outsourcing partners, and product vendors to manage and deliver the scope within the planned budget and timelines.
- Facilitating service reviews leveraging data, such as: Scope delivered vs. planned (DevOps board).
- Initiatives to drive improvement leveraging data – incidents, requests, root cause analysis.
- Maximising vendor contracts and operating within the allocated budget.
