Cloud Architect

Azure Cloud Architects are invited to apply to join a highly recognisable Insurance Company and be part of the global security architecture and engineering function with twin teams in US and APAC regions.

We’re seeking a Azure Cloud Architect that has exceptional Cloud Security experience that goes way beyond Cloud Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating security architecture frameworks, design patterns, standards, reference architectures, best practices and technical specifications. You’ll work closely with other Information Security colleagues, IT & Infrastructure organization and Business teams globally to provide security architecture guidance and recommendations.

This Azure Cloud Architect position will offer a starting salary of £100,000 and in addition there is a substantial bonus scheme, excellent company pension, full private medical care and various other benefits that make up a highly impressive remuneration package.

We’re seeking Azure Cloud Architects that have the following experience;

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Significant commercial experience with networking, firewalls, end point protection, Identity and Access Management and data protection.
• Strong knowledge of cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) offerings
• Hands on experience working with few industry leading products in network, data protection, cloud and application security
• Strong knowledge and experience implementing security standards frameworks (NIST – CSF, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Solid knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture frameworks such as; TOGAF
• Extensive Cyber Security experience
• Experience in documenting reference architectures, standards and position papers

The Company operates a hybrid working environment where two days per week they work from their London Office. With that, we are looking for Cloud Architects that can commute twice weekly to London. Unfortunately, VISA Sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLE for these roles and we are looking for Cloud Architects that are based living within the United Kingdom.
