We’re recruiting for an Azure FinOps Engineer that is FinOps Certified! This is a brilliant opportunity for an Azure FinOps Engineer to join a global Financial Services Company that is embarking on a significant technology modernisation. The result of this project will be an improved service and IT capability that will provide the foundation for delivering a migration from On Prem to Azure for the vast majority of services.

This Azure FinOps Engineer role will offer a starting basic salary of £75,000 + Performance Related Discretionary Bonus | 28 days core annual leave, and you can buy up to 5 days | Company Pension up to 18%! | Private Medical cover for yourself.

We’re looking for an Azure FinOps Engineer that is experienced in managing costs across an Azure portfolio, delivering reliable cost reporting and performance telemetry and optimising the cloud environments.

  • Governance of the cost management, financial reporting and risk management of workloads on Azure platform and act as point of contact for any issues, incidents or problems.
  • Supporting ITIL processes – incident, change management and problem management.
  • Driving the adherence to standards and operating procedures to ensure quality, productivity and controls compliance.
  • Engaging and building relationships with external 3rd party support partners as needed for system maintenance/support/troubleshooting.

We’re looking for an Azure FinOps Engineer who can demonstrate the following experience:

  • Experience with Entra ID is essential and you’ll have previously supported and developed Azure and/or AWS.
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Certified certifications.
  • Experience with scripting and command line languages (JSON, Python, Powershell).
  • Experience of managing outsourced IT services providers.
