Lead Security Engineer London £110K + great benefits An impressive global media company is looking to hire a Lead Security Engineer to support this team with the risk and remediation activities. This business is going through a big technology transformation programme that is estimated to take 3 -5 years. The successful Lead Security Engineer will be part of this journey, managing one other team member and deputising as the technical authority for the CISO Lead Security Engineer Duties and Responsibilities The successful Lead Security Engineer will: * Research, design and implement various security designs in accordance with group policies * Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that all software and hardware changes are secure by design, championing security across the technology teams in the business * Demonstrate strategic input for the Security Operations teams to ensure alignment with budgets, controls and policies * Have a strong understanding of Identity Access Management tooling as they will take the lead in rolling out new tolling and processes * Want to remain technically “hands on” and lead the lead for security engineering as the team grows * Manage a Vulnerability Management Senior and ensure that they are getting relevant support and training * Stay abreast of the changing threat landscape and be aware of any Zero Day vulnerabilities. * Assist with the selection of cost-effective security controls to mitigate risk. * Create, roll out and maintain identity access management policies and procedures. * Provide leadership hands-on technical direction to deliver problem, solution, tactical, and break-fix capability. * Work closely with both business-oriented executives and leads technology-oriented personnel to ensure adequate processes are in place and actions are being taken to mitigate identified risks proactively. * Participate in incident response activities when necessary. * Work with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business Senior Lead Security Engineer – Your Background The ideal Lead Security Engineer will have: * A technical degree in Information Systems or similar * Any of the following certifications, or similar, would be advantageous: * * * CISSP * CCSP * CISM * CEH * Extensive knowledge of configuration management, change control/problem management integration, risk assessment and acceptance, exception management and security baselines. * Strong technology exposure, including, cloud networks and infrastructure. * Previous experience with Security Engineering and Identity Access Management (IAM) * Ability to work in a collaborative environment. * Process engineering and operations experiences * Deep project and program management skills We invite individuals from underrepresented groups to apply for any of our roles and are committed to supporting accessibility needs.
