On behalf of an industry-leading payment solution provider, I am seeking an experienced and proactive Integration Engineering Manager to lead a small team of 3 integration specialists. The Integration Engineering Manager will oversee the seamless integration of Oracle Opera and Oracle Simphony systems, with a focus on payment integration and ensuring smooth interconnectivity between different platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle Opera and Simphony systems, have strong project management skills, and ensure the stability and efficiency of payment integration processes across multiple platforms.
While the organisation operates flexible hybrid working, their expectation of the role is to be based in their Central London offices 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3 integration specialists, ensuring the team meets performance expectations and project deadlines.
- Oversee the integration of Oracle Opera (property management system) and Oracle Simphony (point of sale system), with a specific focus on payment gateway integration.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, define integration requirements, and implement scalable solutions.
- Ensure the integration architecture aligns with the organization’s technical and operational goals, providing seamless functionality across all systems.
- Manage the design, development, testing, and deployment of system integrations, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any issues within the Oracle Opera, Oracle Simphony, and payment systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and other departments to resolve any integration-related issues or incidents.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and system updates related to Oracle Opera, Simphony, and payment integration technologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system integration processes and procedures.
- Train team members and other key stakeholders on integration processes and best practices.
Experience/Skills required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMS/POS integration, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Opera and Oracle Simphony systems, with proven experience in integrating payment gateways.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging technical issues related to system integrations.
- Experience working with third-party payment processing solutions.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Leadership skills with a focus on team development, collaboration, and effective delegation.
