Role Overview
This business is undergoing a significant technology transformation and seeks an Identity Access Technical Lead to manage a team of experienced analysts across IGA and Customer Identity areas. The role involves technical leadership in a large-scale, multi-year transformation program, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise in Identity Access Management (IAM).
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Identity team, fostering individual and team growth.
- Manage identity federation and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security policies within the identity governance team.
- Influence and support the implementation of Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls and Privileged Access Management (PAM) strategies.
- Lead incident triage and resolution for IAM platform issues, ensuring service reliability.
- Contribute to IAM strategic planning, including platform upgrades and architectural evolution.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in leadership roles related to IAM and knowledge of identity tools such as Ping, Forgerock, SailPoint, EntraID.
- Experience with identity federation and protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
- Leadership experience, especially involving Segregation of Duties processes.
- Collaborative experience with auditors, compliance, and stakeholders.
- Understanding of governance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST.
- Technical expertise in IAM delivery, including access lifecycle automation.
- Hands-on experience supporting IAM platforms in medium to large enterprises.
- Proven leadership in directing multi-disciplinary IAM teams.
- Experience with access governance practices such as JML, access certification, RBAC, SoD frameworks.
