An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantitative Analyst to join a highly technical team developing sophisticated stochastic models used to analyse complex financial transactions and long-term market risk. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys applying mathematics, statistics and software development to solve challenging quantitative problems. You will work on large-scale modelling projects, build robust analytical solutions and collaborate with quantitative specialists across a global business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and enhance stochastic cashflow and valuation models
  • Build quantitative solutions using Python, C++, Java or similar languages
  • Analyse complex financial datasets and investigate model performance
  • Improve and automate reporting, modelling and analytical processes
  • Support the implementation of new financial transactions and products
  • Work closely with quantitative, technology and risk teams on high-impact projects

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative discipline
  • Commercial experience developing quantitative or mathematical models
  • Strong programming experience in Python, C++, Java or C
  • Experience with stochastic, probabilistic or Monte Carlo modelling
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and complex numerical models

  • Quantitative finance or financial engineering
  • Financial markets, derivatives or risk modelling
  • Insurance or reinsurance
  • R, SQL or data engineering
