On behalf of a City of London based Insurance business, I am seeking a Power Apps Developer. The primary purpose of the role is to develop and implement innovative solutions that address business issues, streamline workflows, and automate processes to maximise efficiency by translating business requirements into technical solutions using the Power Platform.
Given the client facing aspect of the role, you will need to be able to commit to 5 days per week in their city of London offices and therefore must be within reasonable commute of London.
Responsibilities:- Gather & analyse business requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders and IT Management, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality apps, workflows, automation processes, and data integrations on the Power Platform, including thorough testing and optimisation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and related integrations to improve reliability and user experience.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.
- Provide user training, support, and guidance, including creating training materials and assisting with onboarding to newly developed solutions.
- Any other duties assigned by your line manager relevant to the role/time.
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience developing Power Apps, including building applications with multiple workflows.
- Prior experience in writing SQL queries using commands such as SELECT, LEFT JOIN, and GROUP BY, as well as creating stored procedures and views to support applications and workflows.
- Exposure to or experience with CI/CD pipelines for deploying Power Apps from development to production.
- Proficient in Power Automate and workflow automation.
- Ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work diligently to create solutions based on provided specifications.
