We're partnering with a leading global trading technology firm that is continuing to invest heavily in its engineering capability. As part of a major platform transformation, they're looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer to help design, build and scale cloud-native applications that support a global client base.

This is a genuinely TypeScript-centric engineering team, with TypeScript used extensively across both Front End and Back End development. The Opportunity

You’ll join a collaborative engineering team responsible for building and evolving critical platform services used across the business. The team owns its products from development through to production and works closely with Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and enhancements.

This is an opportunity to work on complex distributed systems within a modern AWS environment, gaining exposure to cloud-native development, event-driven architecture and large-scale applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building full stack applications using TypeScript across Front End and Back End services
  • Developing and enhancing APIs using GraphQL and REST
  • Working with NoSQL databases to support scalable applications
  • Building and maintaining cloud-native services within AWS
  • Contributing to technical discussions and solution design
  • Developing and enhancing microservice-based applications
  • Writing well-tested, maintainable code
  • Collaborating with Product, Engineering and Business teams to deliver new functionality
  • Supporting the ongoing improvement of engineering practices and processes

  • Commercial experience with TypeScript
