Spencer Rose is urgently seeking an IDAM Secrets/PAM Governance Specialist to join our Financial Services client in Yorkshire for a 6+month contract. £350-390 per day INSIDE IR35.

ASAP Start. 3 days a week onsite.

Strong likelihood of extension.

The role purpose: Define and run governance for the use of AI (including Gen AI) within Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes and tooling.

You'll ensure AI-enabled capabilities (eg, copilots, automation, analytics) are secure-by-design, auditable, and compliant-reducing credential risk while improving operational efficiency.

Required

Skills: Strong background in IDAM security controls, specifically Secrets Management and/or PAM governance.

Working knowledge of AI/Gen AI risk and controls (auditability, data protection, human oversight, secure integration patterns).

Experience operating in regulated environments with governance, audit evidence, and risk management.

Ability to translate risk into practical standards engineers can implement.

Strong stakeholder management and clear written communication.

Desirable Skills/Experience Familiarity with tools such as Cyber Ark/Beyond Trust/Delinea and Vault/Key Vault/AWS Secrets Manager.

Dev Sec Ops and CI/CD secrets patterns; scanning and remediation approaches.

Knowledge of AI security frameworks (eg, OWASP LLM Top 10, NIST ...
