A leading international business within the architectural aluminium and façade systems sector is collaborating with a retained recruitment partner, and we are currently seeking a Technical Services Manager to join their growing UK operation. The position will be focused on leading a technical services function, supporting customers and projects across façade, curtain walling and aluminium systems applications, while managing a small technical team and remaining hands-on with project support and technical coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and mentoring a technical services team
- Providing technical support across façade and aluminium systems projects
- Reviewing and preparing technical drawings, schedules and details
- Supporting customers, fabricators, contractors and architects with technical guidance
- Assisting with bespoke façade applications and complex technical queries
- Coordinating with commercial, operational and design teams
- Attending customer meetings, technical reviews and project discussions
- Supporting compliance, technical standards and best practice initiatives
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful project support and delivery
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within façade, curtain walling, architectural aluminium or building envelope sectors
- Previous experience within technical support, design management or technical services functions
- Strong understanding of curtain walling, façade or aluminium systems
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous customer-facing technical experience
- Team leadership or management experience preferred
- Revit / BIM experience advantageous
- Experience working for a systems house or façade specialist beneficial
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and project support
