Spencer – Richardson are proud to represent our client in finding their new Onboarding & Induction Specialist in a market leading construction and plant hire firm.

We are looking for skilled and ambitious people to join the team, it's an exciting time to get on board as new sites open and increases capabilities.

This is a fast paced role, supporting all induction procedures for the engineers and operators, including building customer relationships across sites. This person needs to flexible to travel between Rushden & Suffolk, ideally situated in the Cambridge area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all new site induction procedures, ensuring that all bookings are made within the relevant time frames and all policies are followed.
  • Supporting and working closely with the Resourcing Team, proactively induct all operators, ensuring they are prepared for their placements on projects, aligning their skills profiles to fulfil demand.
  • Ensure that all administration relating to inductions are accurate, follow all procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider teams, supporting with administration tasks to improve overall team performance and engagement.

  • A genuine team player and the drive to succeed in all tasks.
  • Previous experience managing subcontractor and operative workforces.
  • Solid organisational skills – attention to detail and proactive mindset.
  • Natural ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of plant machinery and the willingness to learn.
  • The ability to hold yourself to high-standards.
