We are proud to support a growing electrical services group that’s been trusted for over 30 years. We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to join the team and elevate their service operations. With clients across residential, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and education projects, also partnering with some of the biggest facilities management companies, they have big plans and are building a team to match. If you love managing people, solving problems, and making systems work better, you’ll love this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running the day-to-day ops across domestic & commercial contracts.
- Leading a team of engineers (and keeping them happy and high-performing).
- Hitting KPIs, tracking performance, and improving workflows.
- Driving a safety-first mindset and ensuring compliance to industry regulations at all times.
- Working with project managers to plan resources, labour requirements and schedule work all within service level agreements.
- Managing subcontractors, keeping projects on track and maintaining excellent service.
- Using tools like Joblogic to keep the data flowing and projects moving - analysing reports to identify gaps, challenges and find solutions.
- Getting stuck in on-site when needed!
To Be Successful:
- Experience leading operations in a medium sized business.
- Track record of exceeding KPIs and budgets, naturally enthusiastic and able to promote a positive culture at work.
- IOSH Leading Safely.
- Previous track record of successfully leading teams.
- A passion for doing things the right way: safe, smart, and efficient.
- Experience in electrical services or FM contracts (especially social housing).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations and SMSTS / SSSTS highly desirable.
- MUST BE 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
