Spencer Richardson are proudly supporting a well‑established organisation, seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the day‑to‑day finance team and support the continued development of a robust, scalable and best in class finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for delivering fast, accurate reporting, strengthening financial control, improving margin and working capital performance, and embedding efficient, repeatable processes across the team as well ensuring all compliance and control elements of finance are complied with and adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Month‑end close - ownership of a 5‑day close and delivery of high‑quality board reporting
- Commercial insight - driving margin improvement, cost control, and operational decision support
- Procurement & compliance - oversight of procurement, audit, tax, funding and statutory compliance
- Team leadership - building, developing, and motivating a high‑performing finance team
- Process improvement - implementing scalable systems, controls, and reporting frameworks
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset
- Proven experience leading finance teams and improving processes
- Comfortable operating at pace and partnering senior stakeholders
