Sales Director FM / Retail
Based in the UK near to Manchester to attend site once a week.
We are retained to manage the search for a new Sales Director to lead the FM / Retail vertical for a leading European business.
The Sales Director (FM / Retail) will be client facing and responsible for increasing revenue through the selling of solutions around the UK to Facilities and / or Retail clients on large scale projects. The successful candidate will hold a strategic role focused on driving high value solution sales, managing key relationships and growing a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully selling into large scale Facilities Management or Retail projects, through knowledge of procurement processes and frameworks , leveraging off existing external client relationships.
You will be in a national role, a sector specialist who will grow a team that will increase revenue within your specialist sector of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting Tier 1 and major infrastructure construction firms.
- Client Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across target accounts, acting as a trusted advisor
- Bid & Tender Management Lead the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring alignment with procurement frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Revenue Growth Drive revenue growth through solution-based selling, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Market Intelligence Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy and positioning
- Collaboration Work closely with key internal stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure customer needs are met and solutions are effectively positioned.
This role ideally suits a sales leader that has experience selling into Facilities or Retail companies, we are looking for someone dynamic and ambitious.
