We are managing the search for a small-medium sized, family owned, travel company looking to recruit a new Executive Assistant for the Finance Director. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute and pro-active, able to manage a wide range of different responsibilities, experienced working at this level. Well organised by nature with a high attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships of trust with key stakeholders.

Day to day, you will be responsible for diary management, scheduling meetings and responding to emails on the FD's behalf, ensuring speed of response and accuracy at all times. The successful individual will manage all activity in direct support of the FD to provide a comprehensive high-level range of administrative, commercial, research, secretarial and support services and ensure the smooth running of the FD’s Office.

Responsibilities
  • Calendar management for the FD
  • Assist with research and preparation for meetings
  • Responding to emails and document requests
  • Draft slides, meeting notes and documents when requested
  • The go-to person for all senior stakeholders in the business
  • Attend Board, Director, and SLT meetings, including preparing agendas, papers and taking minutes
  • Draft agendas and prepare briefs and business presentations ahead of meetings
  • Attend conferences and events on behalf of the FD
Key Skills & Experience
  • Experienced Personal or Executive Assistant that has supported C-Suite Executives
  • Highly proficient using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidentiality and high integrity are key
  • Self motivated and can use your initiative, a "solutions" person
