We are partnered with a PE backed smart home services business who are delivering strong results in their growth strategy, who are now looking for a new Head of HR to lead the business unit providing engineering services within the social housing sector. This person will be pivotal in driving positive culture and business transformation, leading performance, talent and employee relations. As a key leader, you will embed the values of the business across the teams and be a role model for the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align the business strategy and operational targets to meet the group-wide people strategy.
- Be a trusted and strategic partner to the directors - providing insight and advice on all people related matters.
- Develop your HR team, identify skills-gaps and elevate its capability through continuous coaching and mentoring.
- Manage resourcing and recruitment - for now and in the future.
- Design and implement effective engagement programs - support DEI, wellbeing and high performance.
- Full generalist activities, policy compliance, organisational change, TUPE & employee relations.
To Be Successful:
- Highly commercial HR leader who has worked in a complex structure or divisional business.
- Proven track record of managing complex ER cases and effecting meaningful change.
- Previous experience developing and mentoring a growing team.
- A background in utilities, facilities management, engineering or similar sectors.
- Strong diplomatic communicator and natural influencer.
- Experience in unionised environments.
- Able to use initiative and utilise your knowledge of UK employment law.
- Able to naturally prioritise in a fast paced and operationally heavy environment.
- CIPD qualified.
In return, salary £80-95k, car allowance, bonus, pension, private medical insurance, hybrid working.
