Lead Associate – Professional Services – Executive Search
At Spencer-Richardson, we don’t just fill roles, we build careers, shape teams, and partner with some of the most respected names in the Professional Services space. We’re a small but mighty team of executive search specialists with a big vision – and thanks to a year of record-breaking success, we’re growing.
We’re now looking for a smart, ambitious, and curious Executive Recruiter to join our Professional Services division. Whether you’re just starting out in recruitment or already on your way and hungry for more responsibility, training, and career progression, this is your moment.
Why Us?
We’re part of a wider recruitment group, giving you access to world-class tools, a powerful network, and a leadership team that actually invests in your career.
We’re serious about our values: Integrity. Experience. Delivery. They’re not just words on a wall, they shape how we work and why clients trust us.
And the culture? Think high performance without the ego. Smart, supportive, down-to-earth people doing great work and having a laugh while we’re at it. Did we mention our office Cocker Spaniel? Yes, she’s gorgeous, and yes, she’s part of the team too .
What You’ll Be Doing
- Become an expert in your market, mapping clients, tracking trends, and spotting opportunities.
- Build deep relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders, understanding both their business needs and culture.
- Research, source, and engage top-tier talent – often the ones not actively looking.
- Write compelling job ads and pitch opportunities with clarity and impact.
- Work on live roles, resourcing with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and our in-house tech stack.
- Drive your own business development strategy with all the support you need to make it work.
- Keep our CRM (and your pipeline) in top shape.
- Engage in regular client-facing conversations that build trust and position you as a true partner.
What You’ll Bring
- Confident, clear communicator with a natural curiosity and commercial mindset.
- Genuine team spirit, we’re collaborative, not competitive.
- Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused. You take ownership and make things happen.
- Strong organisational skills – you can juggle priorities without dropping the ball.
- A sense of humour. We take our work seriously, but never ourselves.
- Any sales or recruitment experience? Great, but not essential as we’ll train the right person.
What You’ll Get
- Genuine flexibility – we are predominantly in the office because that suits us best, but are more than happy to understand what you need to be happy and successful.
- Uncapped commission – real earning potential, no silly thresholds.
- All tech and tools provided to do your best work.
- Private healthcare, pension, and wellbeing perks.
- Brilliant incentives: holidays, designer goods, tech, and even a shot at a Porsche or Rolex.
- Ongoing training and mentoring from leaders who want you to win.
- Team socials, offsites, and a supportive environment where people love what they do.
If you’re hungry to learn, ready to grow, and want to be part of a business where your voice matters, we’d love to hear from you.
