Enterprise Key Account Managers drive strategic growth in their specific region within key industrial and construction sectors. This individual will manage major accounts, build long‑term relationships, and champion the adoption of their technology across complex, multi‑site environments. The successful candidate will inherit and then own a portfolio of approx 15-20 existing key accounts and be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience as well as growth. You will be commercially minded with a consultative, solutions‑oriented approach, always putting the customer first. You will be confident operating in industrial or high-risk operational environments, self-driven, resilient and comfortable managing complex stakeholder groups.
Key responsibilities:
- Targeted to manage and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise‑level clients across industrial, construction, logistics, manufacturing, utilities, and related sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand product adoption and maximise customer value.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell across the Safety Shield Global ecosystem.
- Build trusted, influential partnerships with senior stakeholders including Health & Safety leaders, Operations Directors, and Technology decision‑makers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from onboarding through renewal.
- Facilitate regular business reviews, performance insights, and data‑driven recommendations.
- Develop a deep understanding of Safety Shield Global’s AI human‑recognition products, hardware, data analytics, and platform capabilities.
- Consult with clients to tailor solutions to operational environments, risk profiles, and compliance requirements.
- Educate customers on new functionalities, innovation updates, and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify and qualify new enterprise opportunities, collaborating closely with the Commercial Director to develop and execute successful bid strategies.
- Work closely with the relevant internal teams to ensure seamless deployment and ongoing performance of solutions.
- Support pilots, demonstrations, and rollout planning across multi‑site industrial or construction operations.
- Capture customer insights to help inform product development and innovation priorities.
- Own revenue, retention, and growth targets within assigned enterprise accounts.
- Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, and pipeline activity.
- Ensure the CRM system is clean, accurate and up to date.
Experience & skills required:
- Proven experience in enterprise account management, business development, or strategic sales in B2B technology or safety‑critical environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial, construction, manufacturing, or logistics sectors and their operational challenges.
- Ability to articulate and sell complex technical solutions to both operational and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets within a high‑growth or innovation‑led organisation.
- Confident user of a sales CRM.
- Experience with AI, computer vision, IoT, safety technology, or advanced hardware/software solutions would be desirable but not essential.
- Previous exposure to multi‑site enterprise rollouts or digital transformation programmes would also be preferred.
