We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to take ownership of recruitment operations across Scotland and the Borders, supporting the delivery of skilled plant operators to major projects. This is a senior, hands-on role combining people leadership, workforce planning, recruitment strategy and client relationship management. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects have the right people in place at the right time, while developing a strong and sustainable talent pipeline across the region.

The Role

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and supply process for major projects across your region, working closely with operational, project and management teams.
  • Lead recruitment operations across Scotland and the Borders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the regional talent pipeline.
  • Manage workforce planning to ensure operators are placed in line with project requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, site personnel and internal teams.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls and day-to-day customer communications.
  • Work closely with operational and project management teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage expectations and resolve operational challenges proactively.
  • Provide leadership, direction and feedback to the recruitment team.
  • Monitor team performance, engagement, productivity and retention.
  • Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s plant fleet and operational requirements.

About You

  • An experienced recruitment or resourcing professional with strong operational experience.
  • A confident people leader who can motivate and develop a team.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A strong communicator who can build relationships at all levels.
  • Results-driven and commercially aware.
  • Confident managing competing priorities and making decisions under pressure.
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys improving processes and performance.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel; CRM experience would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

  • £55,000 – £65,000 salary.
  • Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00am – 5:30pm.
  • Senior role with genuine responsibility across Scotland and the Borders.
  • Opportunity to shape recruitment strategy and workforce planning.

  • Occasional out-of-hours calls may be required due to the nature of the role.
