We\'re currently looking to add a Senior engineer / technician to our Engineering team. Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for the build, development, and support of industrial Human Machine Interface systems (hardware + software) for the modernisation and upgrade of Small Gas Turbines.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test standardised HMI builds on Windows endpoints, Servers, and Clients. Including engineering software such as:
- AVEVA Intouch
- FactoryTalk Optix
- Simatic PCS7
- WinCC
- and Cybersecurity software / measures:
- Windows hardening
- Endpoint security
- Whitelisting
- Secure backups
- Configure, develop, and test networking components such as industrial firewalls, and managed switches.
- Develop and maintain work instruction documentation for build configurations.
- Create and maintain information database(s).
- Collaborate and support the Project Execution team to enhance quality and on-time delivery.
- Identify and rectify problems found during testing of software / hardware and support the Field Service team during commissioning of equipment / software.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional accreditation or recognition in an engineering discipline preferably relating to the fields of Computer Science, Control Systems, Cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working with industrial controls system applications such as:
- Rockwell / Allen Bradley Control Logix
- Control Systems
- AVEVA Intouch
- Factory Talk Optix
- Familiarity with industrial networks and cyber security standards, frameworks, and regulations
- IEC-62443
- NCSC CAF
- EU Cyber Resilience Act
- Working knowledge of change / configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with other IT related tools and software for business analytics and project management.
- Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable.
