We\'re currently looking to add a Senior engineer / technician to our Engineering team. Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for the build, development, and support of industrial Human Machine Interface systems (hardware + software) for the modernisation and upgrade of Small Gas Turbines.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and test standardised HMI builds on Windows endpoints, Servers, and Clients. Including engineering software such as:
    • AVEVA Intouch
    • FactoryTalk Optix
    • Simatic PCS7
    • WinCC
  • and Cybersecurity software / measures:
    • Windows hardening
    • Endpoint security
    • Whitelisting
    • Secure backups
  • Configure, develop, and test networking components such as industrial firewalls, and managed switches.
  • Develop and maintain work instruction documentation for build configurations.
  • Create and maintain information database(s).
  • Collaborate and support the Project Execution team to enhance quality and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and rectify problems found during testing of software / hardware and support the Field Service team during commissioning of equipment / software.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional accreditation or recognition in an engineering discipline preferably relating to the fields of Computer Science, Control Systems, Cybersecurity

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working with industrial controls system applications such as:
    • Rockwell / Allen Bradley Control Logix
    • Control Systems
    • AVEVA Intouch
    • Factory Talk Optix
  • Familiarity with industrial networks and cyber security standards, frameworks, and regulations
    • IEC-62443
    • NCSC CAF
    • EU Cyber Resilience Act
  • Working knowledge of change / configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with other IT related tools and software for business analytics and project management.
  • Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable.
