We’re seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support major infrastructure projects, particularly in HVDC, as part of a high-performing Project Controls team.
About the Role:
You will lead planning and scheduling activities for complex projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. This role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams and leadership, with a focus on strategic planning, performance monitoring, and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning for large-scale HVDC projects, coordinating schedule and cost control
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Primavera P6)
- Support change management, risk assessment, and mitigation planning
- Interface with internal teams, clients, and third parties on schedule matters
- Provide regular reporting, trend analysis, and executive-level insights
- Support EOT claims and forensic schedule analysis
- Align schedule and cost forecasts with project objectives
Requirements:
- 7+ years of planning experience, including 3+ years in electrical substations or similar infrastructure projects
- Expert in Primavera P6
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience managing planning teams and working in multicultural environments
- Familiarity with cost control, risk analysis, and claims preparation
- Degree in engineering or project management
Desirable:
- HVDC or complex turnkey project experience
- Risk management and quantitative analysis knowledge
