We are urgently looking to onboard Quality Technicians for upcoming projects for our global client across the UK & Ireland.
The work will be performed by a qualified technician/s, with experience in renewable energy with an Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Vocational Education (FP) might be accepted.
Responsibilities:- Supervise the execution of the foundations of the turbines of the wind farm.
- Quality review of main components when arriving to site.
- Quality review of minor components at the site warehouse.
- Creation of punch items.
- Drafting and management of non-conformities.
- Audit the execution of the works.
- Quality review of the complete WTG when finished, according to Nordex standards.
- Report to the Client Quality Department the progress of the project.
- Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Vocational Education (FP) might be accepted.
- PPEs for working at heights.
- PPEs according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations.
- Individual car (in compliance with local regulations, in and out of the construction site).
- Laptop.
- Smart phone.
- Certificates of training in working at height (GWO or similar) will be provided.
Besides, the technician/s should also have all the equipment to develop their activities such as laptop and smart phone.
There are some specific trainings the worker must be trained on:
- GWO BST (Basic Safety Training).
- Electrical Risk training, according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations.
- Corresponding Service Lift (Jaso, Hailo or 3S) training for use.
- Corresponding Service Lift (Jaso, Hailo or 3S) training for certification/installation (only for DIN projects).
- Avanti fall arrester certification (only for DIN projects).
