We are urgently looking to onboard Quality Technicians for upcoming projects across the UK & Ireland.

Key Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK (mandatory)
  • Working hours: 10h/day, 60h/week
  • Rotations in line with local/company regulations
  • Must meet HSE standards, including:
  • PPE
  • Laptop & phone
  • Suitable vehicle
  • Valid GWO certifications

Scope:

  • Supervise the execution of the foundations of the turbines of the wind farm.
  • Quality review of main components when arriving to site.
  • Quality review of minor components at the site warehouse.
  • Creation of punch items.
  • Drafting and management of non-conformities.
  • Audit the execution of the works.
  • Quality review of the complete WTG when finished, according to Nordex standards.
  • Report to the Quality Department the progress of the project.

Description:

The work will be performed by a qualified technician/s, with experience in renewable energy with Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Vocational Education (FP) might be accepted. The technician/s will have a car to be able to move across the wind farm and the protective personal equipment (PPE) necessary to access to the wind farm as well as equipment for working at height. Certificates of trainings in working at height (GWO or similar) will be provided. Besides, the technician/s should also have all the equipment to develop their activities such as laptop, and smart phone.

Equipment:

  • PPEs for working at heights
  • PPEs according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations
  • Individual car (in compliance with local regulations, in and out of the construction site)
  • Laptop
  • Smart phone

Special trainings:

  • GWO BST (Basic Safety Training)
  • Electrical Risk training, according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations
  • Corresponding Service Lift (Jaso, Hailo or 3S) training for use
  • Corresponding Service Lift (Jaso, Hailo or 3S) training for certification/installation (only for DIN projects)
  • Avanti fall arrester certification (only for DIN projects)
