A leading renewable energy developer is seeking a Technical Design Manager to support the development of large-scale energy infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design and delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Solar PV, Onshore Wind and emerging energy technologies from early-stage development through to construction readiness.
- Lead power system and grid connection design activities for renewable energy projects.
- Review and challenge contractor and consultant design deliverables.
- Oversee technical design standards, electrical studies and engineering best practice.
- Collaborate with development, procurement and project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Strong experience in electrical network design and renewable energy projects. Knowledge of BESS, Solar PV, Onshore Wind and transmission-connected assets (132kV+). Experience with power system studies and tools such as DigSilent PowerFactory and CAD software. Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
