Main Purpose of the Role
Lead and coordinate all supervisors, teams, and site activities on behalf of the Senior Site Manager / Project Manager. Report directly to the Installation Manager or as required by project deployment. Maintain a duty of care for yourself and all personnel on site, ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in accordance with all applicable QEHS procedures and site induction requirements.
- Lead assigned work fronts to ensure delivery against project timelines, quality standards, and budget expectations.
- Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, and work packages to ensure safe and efficient execution of site activities.
- Identify and communicate potential project deviations or risks in advance.
- Support site management with additional duties within your competency and industry standards.
- Ensure all site activities are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Support the completion of project documentation, task cards, timesheets, and expense submissions within required timescales.
Experience Required
- Apprentice trained with minimum NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) plus at least 3 years’ supervisory experience, or
- Degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience within:
- Electricity Supply Industry (ESI)
- Power Generation
- Oil & Gas
- Heavy Industrial / Construction environments
- Mechanical & electrical installation activities
- Site supervisors and subcontractors
- Multiple work fronts and work packages
- HVDC project experience from an installation perspective is highly desirable.
